(KNSI) – Minnesota reports 3,014 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The higher number of cases is due to the Minnesota Department of Health reporting both Sunday’s and Monday’s test data on one day.
The latest COVID-19 report from the state also shows four more deaths from the disease.
Around the St. Cloud area, there are 297 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19: 31 in Benton County, 20 in Morrison County, 91 in Sherburne County, 65 in Stearns County and 90 in Wright County.
Out of the nearly 30,000 tests processed on Sunday and Monday, about 10 percent returned positive results.
Meanwhile, 1.8 million Minnesotans have gotten at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. According to MDH’s data, roughly one out of every four residents in the five-county area has received at least one vaccine dose so far.
