(KNSI) – A grocery store chain based in St. Cloud is opening a new location in Buffalo.

Coborn’s, Inc. announced plans for a Coborn’s Marketplace grocery store along the Highway 55 and Highway 25 corridor in Buffalo.

Construction will begin in mid-April with a store opening target date of November 2021.

Coborn’s stated this project was an opportunity to re-enter the Buffalo market.

The Buffalo supermarket will showcase the next generation of Coborns’ and will be dedicated to fresh departments, enhanced services, an expanded assortment of products, and décor.

Store features will include a full-service Caribou Coffee, a drive-thru pharmacy, a curbside pick-up service, and a fuel center.

The location in Buffalo marks the latest updates in the company’s ever-evolving formats to best-serve its guests.

This new store, when completed, will be the 19th next-generation store format.

This store will become the 60th grocery store and the 29th Coborn’s supermarket in the company’s portfolio.

The company recently completed updates at its Coborn’s Marketplace locations in Hastings, Foley, Big Lake, and Princeton and has several other updated sites.

Its newest store recently celebrated its grand opening in Otsego.
