(KNSI) – Two St. Cloud groups helping women of sexual assault and exploitation have received more than $100,000 from the Otto Bremer Trust.

The Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center in St. Cloud was awarded $55,000 and gave the Terebinth Refuge in Waite Park $50,000.

The Sexual Assault Center provides trauma services to survivors of sexual violence in central Minnesota.

The Terebinth Refuge gives emergency shelter, transitional housing, and holistic supportive services to sexually exploited and trafficked women and their minor children in Central Minnesota.

 

The Otto Bremer Trust awarded $11.4 million in grants and program-related investments to 190 organizations in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, and Wisconsin as part of its most recent grantmaking cycle.
