(KNSI) – The latest players to sign with the St. Cloud Rox include a Sauk Rapids native.

Left-handed pitcher Brady Posch graduated from Sauk Rapids-Rice High School in 2019.

He led his team with a 1.86 ERA to earn all-conference and all-section honors during his junior year. He didn’t play his senior year due to an injury.

He plays college baseball for the University of Nebraska Omaha.

The Rox also signed pitchers Jet Kern (Georgia State), Dawson Sweatt (Georgia State), and Max Steffens (Augustana).

The Rox have 23 players signed for the 2021 season and will continue to look for more.

The 2021 season presented by Fleet Farm will be the Rox tenth season of Northwoods League baseball. The Northwoods League is a wooden bat league for college players.

The home opener is Friday, June 4th, presented by Coborn’s.

There will be post-game fireworks.
