(KNSI) – St. Cloud-based Coborn’s, Inc. says it has partnered with the U.S. Department of Human Services to offer the COVID-19 vaccine at 20 of its pharmacies.

Pharmacy Clinical Program Manager Jason Miller says, “The entire Coborn’s team is honored to be on the leading edge of providing the COVID vaccine to members of our communities. We strongly recommend that EVERYONE receive the COVID-19 vaccine when they are eligible to receive it.”

There will be a limited number of COVID-19 vaccines to those over 65 at 20 select Minnesota pharmacy locations. These will be offered at no cost to patients.

If you are interested in getting the first dose of the COVID vaccine, you can schedule an appointment by clicking here. Appointment slots are expected to fill quickly and will be made based on a person’s eligibility and times available.

Coborn’s said in a November press release it was ready to administer coronavirus vaccines as soon as they become available. Preparations include a strategic plan developed to organize clinics in communities for equal and adequate distribution.

Clinics open on March 10th.
