
SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm defeated the St. Cloud Tech Tigers in girls basketball action on Tuesday night.
Kyanah Evans scored 11 first half points to help the storm build a 12 point half time lead. The Storm continued to pull away in the second half and came away with a 63-40 win.
Evans finished with 14 points and was named the All-Star Trophy and Awards Player of the game.
Jayna Benson led the way for the Tigers scoring 15 points.
With the win, the Storm improve to 4-8 while the Tigers fall to 2-12.
