Sherburne County adds the highest number of new cases with 14, followed by 12 in Stearns County, nine in Wright County, three in Morrison County and two in Benton County.

Though Monday’s test volume was low at 10,915 tests, the test positivity rate also stayed low at 4.1 percent.

Meanwhile, more than 908,000 Minnesotans have gotten their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with more options on the way. The state placed its first order for the newly approved Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine on Sunday.
