(KNSI) – The Minnesota Department of Health confirms 636 new COVID-19 cases and three deaths around the state on Monday.
The St. Cloud area sees a total of 35 new cases, with just one new case reported each in Benton and Morrison counties. Sherburne County adds eight cases, Stearns County nine and Wright County 16.
Data from local health departments show that 384 people in the St. Cloud area have currently active cases of COVID-19.
Out of 19,374 COVID-19 tests processed in Minnesota yesterday, 3.3 percent returned positive results.
Meanwhile, more than 900,000 people have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as of Saturday. Additionally, 51.8 percent of those vaccine recipients have also gotten their second dose. MDH estimates that almost 53 percent of Minnesotans age 65 and older are now vaccinated.
In the five-county area, 61,777 people have received the vaccine.
