How to Help the Victims of the Buffalo Clinic Shooting

(KNSI) – Five area breweries are teaming up to help out the victims of last week’s deadly shooting at the Allina Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo.

Saturday, February 20th, is Brewery Industry Give Back Day.

On Saturday, Rustech Brewing and the Nordic Brewing Company in Monticello, Lupulin Brewing in Big Lake, AEGIR Brewing Company in Elk River, and Spilled Grain Brewhouse in Annandale will each be donating $1.00 from every glass sold to the victims.

According to a post on Rustech Brewing’s Facebook page, it says, “There are some who bring a light so great into the world that even after they are gone, the light remains. The light honors those lost, those deeply wounded, and those who are left behind to deal with this great sadness.”

Medical Assistant, wife, and mother of two, 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay, was killed in the shooting. Four others were badly wounded, including one who was shot six times. Police arrested 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich in connection to that shooting. He has been charged with second-degree murder, four counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder, and other crimes.
