(KNSI) – A fire in Albany Township Sunday afternoon is under investigation after a machine shed was heavily damaged, and an unknown vehicle was found inside.
Crews from Albany, Stearns County, Freeport, and Melrose responded to the scene just before 4:45 and found the machine shed on fire with an SUV inside that was completely destroyed.
According to the property owner, that SUV was not his and was apparently dumped there by someone.
An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s office was called in to help. Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number, 320-251-4240, or the State Fire Marshal’s tip line at 1-800-723-2020.
