(KNSI) – Two people are under arrest after a traffic stop Saturday morning yielded suspected methamphetamine.

The Becker Police Department says an officer stopped a car for speeding about 1:15 on Highway 10 and Gardner Street in Becker. The driver of that car, a 30-year-old from Waite Park, police say had a revoked driver’s license and a felony arrest warrant out of Crow Wing County.

A search of the driver turned up what is believed to be six grams of methamphetamine and brass knuckles. Brass knuckles are illegal under Minnesota law.

He was booked into the Sherburne County jail, where he is expected to be charged with drug possession, speeding, driving after revocation, and possession of brass knuckles.

Around a pound of suspected methamphetamine was found in a package inside the car.

A woman in the car, a 43-year-old from St. Cloud, was also arrested. She was also booked into the Sherburne County jail, where she is expected to be charged with first-degree drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
