The Apollo Eagles defeated the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles in boys basketball action on Thursday night.
The Sabres took a 10 point lead into halftime thanks in large part to Ben Hennen who scored 10 points in the half. He finished with 15 points for the Sabres.
The Eagles mounted a comeback in the second half and came away with a 69-64 win.
Quemar Gresham had a huge night for the Eagles scoring 26 points and was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
Gus Gunderson led the way for the Sabres scoring 23 points.
With the win, Apollo improves to 4-6 while the Sabres fall to 6-3.
