(KNSI) – The community COVID-19 testing site at the River’s Edge Convention Center be put on a temporary pause later this month.
Officials with the River’s Edge Convention Center tell KNSI the last day of testing will be Sunday, February 21st. Convention Center staff will then tear down and deep clean the site before the event staff move in.
After the event is over, staff will again deep clean the building and set up for community COVID-19 testing to resume on Wednesday, March 3rd. Testing will continue Wednesdays through Sundays at the convention center until at least March 28th.
If you need a test, you can order a free test kit to be sent to you via U.S. Mail. The Minnesota Department of Health website shows Williams Integricare in Sartell, CentraCare’s testing site in Waite Park, and Assured Health in the Midtown Square Mall will be open during that time. Sartell Pediatrics, CentraCare Becker, Monticello, and Paynesville will also be open.
