SAINT CLOUD (KNSI) —
Andrew Cumming scored three goals as St. Cloud defeated Alexandria on Tuesday night in boys hockey action.
Alexandria struck first with a goal from Brycen Berg in the 1st period.
St. Cloud scored two goals late in the 2nd period off the stick of Isaac Baker and Andrew Cumming.
Andrew Cumming scored again in the 3rd period to give St. Cloud a 3-1 lead. Berg added his second goal of the night to cut the lead in half.
August Falloon added a empty net goal for St. Cloud as did Cumming which gave him a hat-trick. Cumming was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
With the win, St. Cloud improves to 5-2 on the season. Their next game is on Tuesday on the road against Buffalo.
