UPDATE: Child and Vehicle Connected to AMBER Alert Found

UPDATE: 2:25 p.m.

(KNSI) – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the child and carjacked vehicle stolen from North Minneapolis have been found in Brooklyn Center. The child is safe.

No word on any suspect information.

(KNSI) – The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued an AMBER Alert after an SUV was stolen with a one-year-old inside.

Police say a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with Minnesota license plate CRY661 was taken in an alleged carjacking from the area of 42nd and Humboldt Avenue North in Minneapolis. Inside was Da’Merion Ni’Mer White. 

The child was last seen wearing a red, white, and blue hat, a black jacket, camouflage pants and black boots. 

Police have no suspect information or known direction of travel at this time, but if you do spot the vehicle, call 911.
