Minnesota processed 21,432 tests Sunday, and only 3.4 percent came back positive.
The state also confirms two new deaths: one person from Ramsey County in their 50s and a Hennepin County resident in their 90s.
Statewide, 450 people are currently hospitalized for COVID-19.
As Minnesota’s COVID-19 cases continue their decline, vaccinations are still moving ahead. As of Friday, 418,299 Minnesotans have gotten their first COVID-19 vaccine shot. Almost 112,000 more have gotten both doses. Stearns County leads the five-county area with the greatest percent of its population vaccinated with at least one dose: 11 percent.
