Our weekend winter storm dropped close to a half-foot of snow across parts of southern Minnesota from Saturday into early Sunday.

MnDOT reported snow-covered highways across the region as of early Sunday morning. The State Patrol reported that it had responded to nearly 150 crashes and more than 100 spinouts between noon and 9 p.m. Saturday.
