(KNSI) – The Rocori Spartans defeated the Delano Tigers 35-7 in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A State Tournament.
Luke Humbert and Jack Steil scored touchdowns for Rocori in the 1st half.
Rocori outscored Delano 21-0 in the 2nd half.
Jack Steil had 156 yards passing and a passing touchdown along with 71 yards rushing and 3 rushing touchdowns. He also had a fumble recovery on defense.
Steil was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
Jayden Philipie had a receiving touchdown and an interception for the Spartans.
Rocori advances to the State semi finals where they will take on Winona on Friday at US Bank Stadium at 4:30, KNSI will broadcast that game.
