(KNSI) – The Rocori Spartans advanced to the State Tournament with a 14-6 win over the Detroit Lakes Lakers on Friday night.
Jack Steil scored two first half touchdowns for the Spartans and was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
The Lakers scored on a 61 yard interception return by Christian Solberg in the 2nd quarter.
Neither team scored in the second half.
