MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) Twins fans will be bundling up today as they head to Target Field for the season-opener against Detroit.

Game time temperatures are expected to be in the mid 30's, but nothwest winds will push wind chills into the teens and twenties.

Game time is 3:10 this afternoon. Vance Worley will pitch for Minnesota against Detroit's Justin Verlander. As of Sunday, a few hundred tickets were left for the game. Worley was acquired from Philadelphia in a trade that sent Ben Revere to the Phillies.

Today's game will mark the major league debut of Twins outfielder Aaron Hicks who won a roster spot with a strong Spring Training. Other newcomers include pitchers Kevin Correia, Mike Pelfrey, Ryan Pressly and Josh Roenicke and outfielder Wilkin Ramirez.
