NBA: Portland Trailblazers 108, Minnesota Timberwolves 97
- Kevin Love had 31 points and 10 rebounds
- Wolves were outscored 56-37 in the 2nd half
- Wolves are idle tonight, @ Phoenix tomorrow 
 
Other Notes: Brooklyn Nets signed Jason Collins, the first openly gay NBA player. He was in the lineup last night for the Nets 108-102 win over the Lakers. He had 0 points and 2 rebounds
 
NHL: Wild are off until Thursday when they are at Edmonton

The state wrestling tournament gets started Thursday with the team competition and the Friday starts the individual competition. 
 
Congratulations to Melrose who won the Class A state Championship in Gymnastics over the weekend, while St. Cloud Tech finished in 5th in Class AA.
- Jaylin Brinkman from Melrose was the top finisher in the uneven bars
 
MLB: Twins first spring training game is Friday against the Red Sox
 
Auto Racing: Dale Earnhart Jr won his 2nd Daytona 500
- Next week they are in Phoenix 
- The race was delayed 6 hours and 22 minutes because of rain
- The Granite City Speedway opens their doors on May 4th

College Football
- Minnesota has extended the contract of Jerry Kill into the 2018 season. He also say a pay increase from 1.2 million to 2.1 million
- Duck Commander, the company that is owned by the Robertson family of "Duck Dynasty" will be the main sponsor of the Independence Bowl in Shreveport Louisiana.
