ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St Cloud State scored the game's first goal 92 seconds into the contest and never looked back in a 6-2 win over Colorado College Saturday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

Andrew Prochno opened the scoring for the Huskies with an even strength goal and Johnny Brodzinski added a goal at the 8:55 mark to give St. Cloud State a 2-0 lead after the first period.

They made if 4-0 midway through the second period on goals by Ryan Papa and Nic Dowd. Dowd later added a power play goal in the third period. David Morley also found the net for the Huskies.

St. Cloud State outshot the Tigers 25-22. Ryan Faragher picked up the win in the nets for St. Cloud State.

The Huskies improve to 9-1-2 overall, and 4-1-1 in the newly-formed National Collegiate Hockey Conference.

St. Cloud State's next action is December 6th and 7th at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
