Rox player released from hospital

ST. CLOUD. Minn. (KNSI) One of the two St. Cloud Rox players injured in a car crash in Carver County Sunday afternoon has been discharged from the hospital.

Nineteen year-old Dalton Sawyer has been released from Ridgeview Hospital in Waconia. He suffered a collapsed lung and a concussion in the crash.

The other injured player--18 year-old Kasey Ralston of Chaska--remains in the hospital with a broken jaw, broken pelvis and a lacerated bladder.

Sawyer is a student-athlete at the University of Minnesota. Ralston attended Indiana University, but was planning to transfer to another school.
