COLD SPRING, Minn. (KNSI) The ROCORI School District has announced plans to honor one of their own who'll be playing in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Activities Director Joel Baumgarten says Eric Decker Day will be held Thursday to show support for the ROCORI graduate.
Decker is a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, who play Seattle in the Super Bowl.
Baumgarten says students are encouraged to wear orange and blue or any Decker clothing to school on Thursday. Orange or blue t-shirts will be sold at ROCORI High School Commons for $10 before and after school Wednesday and Thursday for anyone who doesn't have one.
Thursday from 3:30 to 4:00 pm, a short pep rally for Decker will be held in the ROCORI school gym. Highlights of Decker will be shown on a big screen and the ROCORI dance team will perform.
Decker has told school officials he would like to see film and pictures of the event after the Super Bowl.
