ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Twins could have the closer and catcher on the mound if the AL has a lead late in the All-Star game.

The All-Star teams were announced on Sunday and Glen Perkins will be in the bullpen for the American League, making his second ever All-Star team. Kurt Suzuki was named to his first ever team filling in as the AL's back-up catcher. Snubbed was Second Baseman Brian Dozier, who had more homeruns and runs than elected starter, Robinson Cano.

There are two former Minnesota Twins, Milwaukee's Carlos Gomez and St. Louis' Pat Neshak will return to Minnesota wearing another team's colors. Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire will also be apart of Boston's John Farrell's coaching staff.

The All-Star game is July 14th to be played at Target Field.
