MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A report finds a Minnesota high school hockey player was not checked before she was injured in a game last Friday.
The Minnesota State High School League issued its report Thursday on 18-year-old Jenna Privette. WCCO-TV says the report concludes there was no illegal hit on Privette.
Privette is a senior at St. Croix Lutheran High School in West St. Paul. She was playing for a cooperative hockey team against the St. Paul Blades when she was injured.
The report says Privette was not contacted illegally and did not fall into the boards. The report says officials determined she fell to the ice without being "aided'' or hit.
Privette's mother, Penny, says she saw her daughter get checked. She says her daughter still has no feeling in her legs.
