Minnesota tops Creighton in double OT

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) Rachel Banham scored a career-high 39 points and Minnesota stormed back from a 20 point deficit to defeat Creighton 88-81 in double overtime Sunday.
Banham--a sophomore guard from Lakeville-- was a perfect 13 for 13 from the free throw line.
Micaella Riche added 23 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota.
The Gophers improved to 11-3 with the win. They open Big Ten Conference play Thursday night at Michigan State.
