Metro Sports Commission: Rocori moves on after beating Delano

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - The Rocori Spartans will continue on to state.

In Coach Bob Brink's final season, the Spartans (19-11) refuse to lose. At halftime the Spartans lead Delano (22-8) at halftime, 28-22. Behind a strong showing from Nate Meyer, they were able to hold on for the 52-49 win. The game was heard LIVE on the Metro Sports Commission.

Meyer finished the game with 11 points, 7 rebounds and two assists in a great all around effort.

The win means that the Spartans will continue on in the State tournament. They play next on Wednesday at either 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m. or 4 p.m., depending on their seed. We will have all the match-ups listed here on 1450KNSI.com when they are announced.
