ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Lindsay Whalen scored 22 points and Seimone Augustus added 17 to help the Minnesota Lynx beat the Chicago Sky 75-72 on Monday in a showdown of unbeaten teams.

WNBA scoring leader Maya Moore, who came into the game averaging nearly 34 points, scored 14 for Lynx.

Elena Delle Donne and Jessica Breland each had 16 points while reserve Allie Quigley added a career-high 15 points for Chicago.

Trailing 75-72 with a few seconds left Delle Donne's desperation 3-pointer that would have tied the game bounced off the backboard and rim before falling off harmlessly.

She had tied the game at 63 with a long jumper with 6:33 to play and added a put back for a 65-63 lead with 5:02 showing. But the advantage didn't last as Tan White had back-to-back scores to give the Lynx a lead it never relinquished at 67-65.
