The Region 7B . The Class B teams have all their 9 qualifiers determined of the 16 have qualified, with seeding games remaining. See the posted brackets, Check the Minnesota State Amateur Baseball website for more info:


The Saint Cloud Beaudreaus Saints topped the A's of Marshall 1-0 to qualify for the Class B state tournament, behind a great pitching effort of Brad Haag and Reese Gregory. Brad threw 5 2/3 innings, he scattered 5 hits, walked none and recorded 7 strikeouts for the win. Reese threw the final 3 1/3 innings to earn the save, he gave up one hit and he struck out 7 batters. The leadoff batter Phil Imholte was hit by the pitcher and advanced to second on a base hit by Brian Minks. Waylon Bemboom put down a perfect sacrifice bunt to advance the runners to 2nd and 3rd. Phil Imholte scored on a sharp ground ball to the shortstop by Ryan Schneider. Phil Imholte did get a base hit a little later in the game for the 2 hits by the Saints. Steven Wehr was the pitcher of record for the A's, he threw 7 innings, gave up just 2 hits, walked 3 and struck out 7. Brandon Alfson threw two perfect innings of relief, he recorded 6 strikeouts. Ben Korger, Jordan Kontz, Andrew Kinney, Jarred Carlson, Brandon Alfson and Tanner Neale all had base hits for the Marshall A's. The Beaudreaus Saints will now play the No. 1 seeded Cold Spring Springers for the top seed out of Region 7B. This will be held Friday evening in Cold Spring at 7:30.
