ST. CLOUD, Minn.(KNSI) - St. Cloud State Men's Hockey player Drew LeBlanc has been named one of the three finalists for the 2013 Hobey Baker Award.
This season LeBlanc was named WCHA First Team, Player of the Year and Student-Athlete of the Year. The Hermantown native is sitting on 37 assists to lead the nations and 50 total points. All of his accomplishments this season comes a year after severly breaking his leg in a game against Wisconsin.
The senior forward becomes just the second Hobey Baker top three finalist in St. Cloud State history. The award winner will be announced at the Frozen Four in Pittsburgh.
The Huskies will compete in the Frozen Four against Quinnipiac on April the 11th. KNSI is your home for Husky Hockey.
