HUNTSVILLE, Al. (KNSI) After blowing out Alabama-Huntsville 10-0 on Friday night, the St. Cloud State Huskies held on for a much tighter 4-3 victory Saturday night to sweep the weekend series.

Cory Thorson got the scoring started for the Huskies with an even strength goal at 6:17 of the first period, and although the Chargers rallied to tie the score on two occasions, St. Cloud State never trailed.

Daniel Tedesco netted the game winner with 5:42 remaining in the game, on assists from David Morley and Ryan Papa.

For the secons straight night, SCSU had a lopsided advantage in shots on goal, 42-15.

Ryan Faragher picked up the win in the nets for the Huskies, after being given the night off Friday night.

St. Cloud State is now 8-1-1 on the season. They host Colorado College at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center next Friday and Saturday nights.
