HUNTSVILLE, Al. (KNSI) The St. Cloud State Huskies raced to a 3-0 lead after the first period and never looked back, routing Alabama-Huntsville 10-0 Friday night.
Eight different players scored for the Huskies, including two goals apiece from Jonny Brodzinski and Nic Dowd.
The Huskies had a lopsided 47-11 advantage in shots on goal, finding the back of the net six times in the second period, including four goals in a five-and-a-half minute span.
Charlie Lindgren recorded the shutout in goal for St. Cloud State.
With the win, the Huskies improve to 7-1-1 on the season. They wrap up their weekend series in Huntsville Saturday night with a 7:00 pm game that can be heard on KNSI Radio.
