NEWARK, NJ. (KNSI) – Cold Spring, the hometown of Eric Decker, has a total population of just over four thousand people. There were at least half of that putting a microphone in Eric Decker’s face Tuesday afternoon at the NFL’s Super Bowl Media day.
Media day, which welcomes in media members from all across the world, is a spectacle of its own. Reporters wearing capes, translators asking questions for foreign reporters and off the wall questions are all part of the norm during the daylong event. But the former Minnesota Gopher wideout didn’t make many waves with predictions, but did touch on something pure Minnesota, the weather.
Super Bowl XLVIII is the first Super Bowl to be played in an outdoor stadium in cold weather conditions. Sunday’s forecast for the Super Bowl calls for a small chance of snow and temperatures in the low 30’s at kickoff.
