DALLAS (KNSI) Former Moorhead High School and St. Cloud State University hockey player Matt Cullen reached a milestone last night.
Cullen netted his 200th career goal in the Minnesota Wild's 7-4 win at Dallas. He becomes the ninth Minnesotan and 37th American-born player to reach that mark.
The 36 year-old Cullen graduated from Moorhead High School in 1995. He starred at St. Cloud State for two seasons before beginning his National Hockey League career with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in 1997.
Cullen has now played in 1,062 NHL games, scoring 200 goals and recording 357 assists.
