MLB: Twins were idle
- Start a 3 game series against the Boston Red Sox tonight
- Felix Doubront (1-3) vs. Ricky Nolasco (2-3)
- First pitch tonight at Target Field is at 7:10pm
 
NHL: Game 6: Blackhawks @ Wild, 8pm
- Chicago leads the series 3-2
- Neither team has lost a home game in the playoffs
- Since 2009, the Blackhawks have not lost a Game 5 or 6 as the higher seeded team when a series has been tied at 2-2 (13-0)
- Since 2007, the Blackhawks are 11-2 in games in which they can eliminate the other team
