ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – Cathedral continues to march on to another state title after getting a shutout win in the 2nd round on Friday.

The top-seeded Crusaders rode a fantastic pitching performance from Junior Brindley Theisen, who went the distance only allowing 3 hits in the 6-0 win. With the win Cathedral advances on to the State Championship to take place Saturday afternoon at Target Field.

Cathedral will be the second game on Championship Monday, which is a change due to severe weather expected over the weekend. As for the championship games, the times remain the same as Cathedral will be following the Single A Championship, with a slated start time of 3pm. The Crusaders will face either Fairmont, who rolled over Kasson-Mantorville 19-3 on Friday.
