ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - After a loss in the sub-section finals, the St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team faces an elimination game in the section 6AA tournament against Wadena-Deer Creek at 5 p.m. Monday.
After ending the season ranked in the top 10, the Crusaders entered the tournament as the #2 seed with an inside track at a sub-section title. However, a sub-section finals stumble against Albany put them into the losers bracket of the section 6 final four.
Cathedral now needs four more wins to earn a birth in the AA state tournament.
You can catch all the elimination game action Monday night at 5 p.m. on KNSI as Cathedral takes on Wadena-Deer Creek at Dick Putz Field.
