MLB: Red Sox 9, Twins 4
- Twins continue to pitch to David Ortiz and he continues to kill them. Two more HR's last night, giving him 4 in two games
- Kevin Correia stunk again lasting 4 innings and giving up 9 hits and 5 earned runs
- Twins are back at it today against the Red Sox,12:10pm
- Clay Buchholz (2-3) vs. Phil Hughes (4-1) is the pitching match-up
 
- Twins activated Oswaldo Arcia from the 15 day DL and have optioned him to Triple A. No idea on why that is a good decision.
 
- The Cubs are painting the red sign of Wrigley Field green and gold for 8 days as part of a promotion for Wrigley Field's 100 season. No word on how the Chicago Bears like Packer colors on the sign. 
 
NBA: Brooklyn blows late lead as Heat advance
- Heat 96, Nets 94 (Heat win series 4-1)
- Spurs 104, Blazers 82 (Spurs win series 4-1)

- TNT analyst Steve Kerr agreed to coach the Golden State Warriors, he also had a job offer from the New York Knicks.
- The NBA will approve the sale of the Milwaukee Bucks today
 
NHL: Montreal moves on with Game 7 win
- Canadiens 3, Bruins 1 (Montreal will face New York in the Eastern Finals)
- Kings 2, Ducks 1, series tied 3-3, Game 7 Friday night

- Chicago Bears have signed first round pick Kyle Fuller to a four year contract with a team option for a 5th year
- St. Louis Rams Defensive End Michael Sam, who is the first openly gay player in the NFL, will be getting a reality TV show on the Oprah network.
 
College Sports: St. Cloud State is hosting on campus interviews for the open Women's Ice Hockey Head Coaching job. The candidates are Tracy Cassano, Jim Fetter, John Harrington, Daniel Koch, Jenny Potter and Eric Rud. Fetter is currently an assistant coach for the Huskies.
