MLB: Twins 9, Rays 7
- Aaron Hicks had his 1st HR of the year and 3 RBI on the day
- Strong game from Kurt Suzuki, 3-4 with 3 RBI
- Twins kick off a 9 game home stand tonight, Tigers @ Twins; Porcello (2-1) vs. Correia (0-2)
 
- The New York Times acquired all Facebook likes for MLB teams and broke them down to find out what certain areas like what teams. Here is the Breakdown for Central Minnesota
- Benton County: 81% Twins // 2% Red Sox // 2% Cubs
- Stearns County: 81% Twins // 3% Yankees // 2% Red Sox
- Sherburne County: 81% Twins // 2% Red Sox // 2% Cubs
 
Central Minnesota saw the highest percentage of Twins fans. Hennepin County, where Target Field is located, was at 75% Twins // 3% Red Sox // 3% Brewers
 
NHL: Wild 2, Avalanche 1 (Series tied at 2-2)
- Awesome defensive performance from the Wild, holding Colorado to only 12 shots
- Jared Spurgeon and Chalie Coyle had the goals for the Wild. For Coyle, that was the 3rd goal of the series
- Series heads back to Denver for Game 5 Saturday night

College Sports: SCSU will be having their Spring Football game Saturday afternoon, starting at 11am there will be a youth clinic and autographs for kids. Kickoff for the game is at 1pm. KNSI's 'Benchwarmers' will be on the field LIVE from 11am-1pm
- St. John's topped St. Cloud State 289-294 in a dual golf meet yesterday
- The SCSU's women's golf team is headed to Morton, Minnesota Saturday for the NSIC championship. Huskies are ranked 12th in their region
- Aaron Kemp was announced as the new WCHA Women's commissioner yesterday
 
Other Sports: Micheal Phelps was back in the pool yesterday, finishing 2nd to fellow American Ryan Lochte in the 100m butterfly in Arizona. He announced that he was coming out of retirement a few weeks back.
