WINONA, Minn. (AP) — The president and CEO of the champion Chicago Blackhawks is bringing some hardware along on his visit to his alma mater in Winona.
John McDonough will bring the Stanley Cup to St. Mary's University Friday where he will speak at a public afternoon rally at Gostomski Fieldhouse. McDonough is a 1975 graduate of Saint Mary's and currently serves on the athletic advisory board.
The Blackhaws won their second NHL title in four seasons and open training camp for next season on Sept. 12.
KAGE says the public can view the Stanley Cup from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
