Vikings' Offense Gets Another Weapon Back

(KNSI) - The Minnesota Vikings continued with training camp at TCO Performance Center in Eagan today and received the news that Brandon Zylstra has been removed from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
With training camp only in the second day of fully-padded practices, offensive coordinator, Kevin Stefanski (pictured below) is happy to have one of his weapons fully healthy.
"I think I'm looking forward to [Brandon] being in the mix; when you're on the PUP-list you really can't get any reps, walk through or otherwise, so I'm looking forward to Brandon jumping in there and building off a good year last year and seeing what he can do this year."
Zylstra will look to solidify himself as the Vikings' third receiver behind Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen and answered what he brings to an already talented group of receivers.
"Versatility. I feel like I'm a guy that can play any position out there so I just try to know every position out there."
Zylstra will battle fellow young receivers Chad Beebe, Jeff Badet and 2019 draft picks Olabisi Johnson and Dillon Mitchell for the third receiver position.
Laquon Treadwell and Jordan Taylor will also provide competition so Zylstra's health will play a roll in how the Vikings divvy reps the rest of camp.
Training camp continues this afternoon with a fully padded practice at 2:00 p.m. and the Vikings will have a day off tomorrow before returning to practice at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31st.
