(KNSI) - The Minnesota Vikings won their opener against the San Francisco 49ers, which has fans excited for the possibilities in the season to come.

Kirk Cousins passed for two touchdowns in his highly anticipated Minnesota debut, and the Vikings forced four turnovers to fuel the 24-16 victory at U.S. Bank Stadium.

It might be only one game, but Vikes fans say it's Super Bowl or bust.

"Really excited, I think we have a lot of the same key pieces on defense, an upgrade at quarterback, there's nothing stopping us, hopefully win a Super Bowl," said Chris Smith from Minneapolis.

Don-Naar the Rogue Viking of St. Paul (pictured below) also has Super Bowl aspirations for his favorite team.

"As long as we have a good enough record to play the last game, like we could have last year, that's what counts."

The Vikings have a tough test ahead of them next week, when they travel to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers.
