Tigers Victorious At Homecoming

(KNSI) The Tech Tigers defeated the Alexandria Cardinals 21-14 on Friday night.
The Tigers scored first with a run from Kedrick Osuorah, putting them up 8-0 in the first quarter.
In the second quarter, Nate Trewick ran for 2 yards into the end zone to put the Tigers up 14-0. You can see a video of that play below.
Before halftime, Alexandria's offense found some life with a 47 yard touchdown strike, making it 14-7 going into halftime.
The third quarter, both defenses played extremely well and neither team was able to find pay dirt.
In the fourth quarter, the Tigers scored again and put them up to a 21-7 lead with 8 minutes to play in the game.
Alexandria scored late in the second half to make it 21-14, but were not able to convert the on side kick.
The final score of the game was 21-14 in favor of the Tech Tigers.
Tech's Kedrick Osuorah rushed for 120 yards, and was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.
