(KNSI) - The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm defeated the Tech Tigers 34-6 on Friday Night.

Tech was 5-0 coming into this game, with Sauk Rapids-Rice sitting at 4-1.

Tech was missing several key players from the team on both offense and defense which contributed to their struggles.

In the first quarter, the Storm turned the ball over twice early, but the Tigers were not able to capitalize. There was no score until the second quarter.

The Storm opened up in the second quarter, scoring three touchdowns over just a few minutes to put them up 21-0.

The Tigers ran in touchdown before the half ended, to make it 21-6 going into halftime.

In the third quarter, the offenses were quiet and there was no score. 21-6 going into the fourth quarter.

In the last quarter of the game, the Storm scored another two touchdowns, and were able to put the game away.

The final score of the game was 34-6 in favor of the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm.

The Storm's J.D Bates was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game.

Highlight: J.D Bates runs it into the end zone for his first touchdown of the game.

The Tigers are back in action next Friday night when they travel to take on Princeton.
