(KNSI) - The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm defeated the St. Cloud Tech Tigers 16-14 on Saturday.

Turnovers were the story of the game for Tech as they made 3 of them.

The Storm's Cade Milton-Baumgardner had 2 interceptions which were costly.

They also failed to convert on a 2 point conversion which would had them tied up.

The Tigers scored first in the game with a long run from Kedrick Osuorah.

In the second quarter, the Storm replied with a touchdown but failed convert for 2.

Tech led 8-6 going into Halftime.

In the third quarter, the Storm reached the end zone again and this time did make the 2 point conversion, and they led 14-8.

Tech recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter, and turned it into points, putting them up 16-14.

With 13 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Baumgardner threw a 28 yard touchdown to Zach Storms to seal the game 20-16 after the 2 point conversion.

St. Cloud Tech Kedrick Osuorah was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the game. He rushed for almost 200 yards.

Sauk Rapids-Rice will take on Elk River on Friday in Buffalo on KNSI.
