St. Cloud trounces Rogers

(KNSI) - St. Cloud defeated Rogers 6-2 on Tuesday Night.
It was all St. Cloud for the first two periods of the game.
St. Cloud scored twice in the first period, and entered the first intermission with a 2-0 lead.
In the second period, St. Cloud scored 2 more and went into the second intermission with a 4-0 lead.
In the third period, St. Cloud scored right away to make it 5-0.
Rogers finally got on the board midway through the third to make it 5-1.
The two teams traded goals again after, and the Royals were not able to make a comeback.
The final score was 6-2 in favor of St. Cloud.
Nick Richert was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game with 1 goal and 2 assists.
