(KNSI) - St. Cloud Area defeated the Fergus Falls Otters 5-3 on Thursday night.

The Otters struck first in the game with a goal from Mike DiBrito midway through the first period.

St. Cloud's Sam Oster comes back and scores 2 goals in a row to bring them into the lead.

St. Cloud led 2-1 going into the first intermission.

In the second period, The Otters scored early with a goal from Ian Richards.

Late in the second period, Chase Jensen added another one for the Otters.

Fergus Falls took a 3-2 lead going into the second intermission.

At the start of the third period, St. Cloud's Sean Davidson scored his first goal of the season to tie the game up at 3-3.

St. Cloud took the lead shortly after with a goal from Tanner Simonson to make it 4-3.

With 2 minutes to go, August Falloon put the game away for St. Cloud with a goal, and they won 5-3.

St. Cloud's Sam Oster was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game with 2 goals.

St. Cloud is off until December 29th when they will play in the Schwan's Cup.
