SRR Advances, Apollo's Season Ends

(KNSI) - In a playoff double header on KNSI, the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm advanced to the championship game, and the Apollo Eagles season came to an end.
The Storm struggled in the first half, and missed several shots.
Deng Deang had 12 points in the first half, and he is what kept the Storm still in the game.
The Lakers led 29-22 at the half.
The Storm switched things up in the second half and cut into the Lakers' lead.
Midway through the half, the Storm overtook the Lakers with strong play from Deng Deang and Anthony Massman.
The final minutes of the game were all Storm as they ran away with the game.
The final score was 63-49 in favor of the Storm.
Deng Deang led the team with 25 points, and was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.
The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm will take on the Fergus Falls Otters on Thursday night on KNSI.
In the other game on KNSI, the Apollo Eagles lost to the Fergus Falls Otters 78-66.
The Eagles were able to keep up in the first half with Fergus Falls, leading by as many as 6 points.
The Otters fought back before halftime, and tied the game up at 28 as the first half ended.
In the second half, the Otters started off on a 7-0 run and set the pace for the remainder of the game.
The Eagles played from behind, and were not able to make up the points.
The Eagles ended their season with a 78-66 loss to the Otters.
Michael Gravelle (pictured below) led the Eagles with 20 points and was selected as the All Star Trophy and Awards player of the game.
