(KNSI) - The Tech Tigers lost to the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 9-5 on Tuesday night.

The Tigers trickled in 3 runs in the first 4 innings, and held a steady 3-0 lead going into the 5th inning.

Tech's Peyton Bigauoette threw 4 scoreless innings before getting lit up in the 5th inning.

Sam Oster relieved Bigauoette in the 5th, and gave up one more run before ending it.

The Storm led 4-3 going into the bottom of the 5th.

Oster struggled to get outs, and then gave up 1 run in the 6th, and 1 in the 7th before being relieved.

The Storm added on 3 more runs after that, and held a 9-3 lead going into the 7th.

The Tigers showed some life in the 7th inning by loading the bases early, but only scored 2 runs.

The final score was 9-5 in favor of the Storm.

The Storm's Logan Fuecker was named the All Star Trophy and Awards Player of the Game going 4-4, 2 singles, a double, and a triple with 2 RBI.
